Tom Jones Australian Tour 1999 - Crown Palladium


Pete sang, played keyboard, and was musical director of the band "Remedy" that supported Tom Jones for six nights at the Crown Palladium during his 1999 Australian Tour. At the time Tom Jones was at the pinnacle of his career having made a meteoric comeback due to the release of his best selling album of all time: Reload.
Logie Awards 2001 After Party - Crown Palladium


Although little known outside of Australia, the TV Week Logies is the country's biggest entertainment awards night and there is really no bigger gig on the Australian corporate circuit. Pete was musical director of the band "Mighty Oz Rock" that played Australian rock classics while the most famous celebrities in Australia partied the night away. INFO

At the historic 100th Australian Open Pete teamed up with one of Australia's best singers Frank Amorosi (father of the internationally famous Vanessa Amorosi) in the VIP pavilion which was filled every day with sporting and entertainment celebrities from all over the world. INFO

Formula One Grand Prix 2002 - Albert Park


Australia's Albert Park circuit is home to the first round of the international F1 Grand Prix series.
In the center of the track is the luxurious Point Restaurant which is the only building with 360 degree views of the track. During the week of the Grand Prix it becomes a venue for VIPs to eat drink and party to live music before, during, and after races. INFO
Melbourne Cup Carnival 2002 & 2003


The highlight of the year for horse racing fans is the Melbourne Cup Carnival held at the historic Flemington Racecourse. It is a series of races that lead up to the main race which is the Melbourne Cup known as "The Race That Stops A Nation". During the Carnival Crown Casino erects a large elevated marquee in the prime position at the end of the straight to entertain local and overseas celebrities and high rollers. Chapel Street Festival 1999 & 2000


Chapel St is world renowned for being the fashion capital of Australia. This festival which had various bands performing all day and into the night drew such huge crowds that, due to the security concerns of local residents and officials, 2000 was to be it's last year.
Crown Casino - Melbourne

Crown Casino is not only Australia's largest casino, but is also the largest in the whole southern hemisphere. In addition to the above special events at the Crown Palladium, Pete was also a resident pianist at the casino for many years performing solo piano, piano and vocals, accompanying other resident singers, plus performing with various showbands in the Casino's many bars and lounges. The 35th floor has what is Australia's most spectacular [see above] Piano Bar. Other performance venues within the hotel include Sofi's (a large lobby lounge), restaurants Cafe La (now The Brasserie), Le Restaurant (now Club Sofitel), The Grand Ballroom, and several function rooms.
